Poor old Dickens, don't take it hardly, old fellow. After all, I enjoy myself thoroughly when ensconced in one of your weighty tomes. You even made me cry once - a Herculean accomplishment - even the ending of Villette didn't make me cry. But I'm siding irrevocably with Miss Deborah on this. Seriously? Can you delude yourself into the belief that it is literature?
