I knew that the West End occasionally holds charity soccer matches in the summertime, pitting actors from one production against those of another, but I had no idea it could be this cool. (And I am so not a sports fan. Believe me.) Last Saturday the current Les Mis cast and the current Phantom cast battled it out for Great Ormond Street Hospital, and someone made a really hilariously epic trailer for the event. Guys, it's Niall Sheehy and Jonny Purchase and a bunch of other West End barricade boys (those were the only two I recognized though) doing the One Day More box step with a soccer ball and some guy from the Phantom cast (I think it's Peter Dukes but I can't find more detailed info) making Enjolras disappear with his swirly cape.
Oh, and it's all set to Pirates of the Caribbean music. Just watch it.

Haha!! That's awesome. I've heard about this...I'm sure it'll be great fun for whoever gets to go! LOL, the part where they do the One Day More march with the soccer ball. :D
This is SO COOL. Poor Enjolras...all that's left is his Red Vest of Power and Awesomeness. :D
But I love this. My two favorite musicals fighting it out. Funny, I used to rage at anyone who said they liked Les Mis better than Phantom, and now I like it better myself. Philippa Gordon alert...;)
