They're Two, They're Four, They're Six-Oh-One...

It all started with this picture I found on Pinterest.  My sister and I, who enjoy giggling over funny Pinterest pictures, then took it to the next level-- what if all the Les Mis characters (or at least as many as possible) were trains from Thomas the Tank Engine?  I present to you, therefore, the Engines on the Island of Paris.

First of all, Enjolras can't be Thomas.  Enjolras has to be James.  With his new red coat [of paint].

Thomas himself will be played by Marius.  With his blue coat.

This opens up the field for Cosette and Eponine as Annie and Clarabel, who follow Thomas-Marius wherever he goes.

Grantaire will be Henry, because he talks too much and has a green coat (the coincidences are freaky, people.  FREAKY.)

Valjean will be Edward, the elderly engine who is nice to everyone and is a bit old-fashioned.

Javert will be Gordon.  OBVIOUSLY.  I mean, Edward even rescues Gordon at one point.  Guys, this thing was MEANT TO BE.

Gavroche has to be Toby.  I don't know why.  He just does.

And, of course, Monsieur and Madame Thenardier are the Troublesome Trucks.  Do I even need to explain this one?

Oh, and Sir Topham Hatt has to be in there somewhere, so he can be Victor Hugo.
The End.

Some of your pictures aren't working... they just say they're hosted by Tripod. :P Just thoughtcha might like to know.

Now whenever I see anything about the Edward from Thomas the Tank Engine I just hear my nephew saying "my dear Edward! my dear Edward!" :P

Alex,
Thanks, we thought so too. :D

Melody,
Argh, that's what I get for being lazy and just copying and pasting the URl. Heh. I saved all the pictures and uploaded them so they should work now.
BAHAHAHAHA I didn't even THINK of "my dear Edward." Heeheehee.

THAT WAS HILARIOUS. I've only seen a few Thomas episodes, though. I think one of my brothers may have gone through the train phase, but it's been a while ;)

Hayden,
Eheh... well... my brother went through a BIG Thomas phase when he was younger, and, um, I was a bit of a fan when I was very small too. Heehee.

Belle,
Wait... so you're saying you liked it? :D

As a girl who very often watched Thomas the Tank Engine with her little brother and recently saw the Enjolras The Tank Engine picture, all I can say is...

Brilliant. Brilliant, my friend. *slow clap*

Oh dear! This is horrible! You have me laughing uncontrollably, but everyone in my house is asleep, so I must hold the giggles in, and it HURTS. THIS IS BRILLIANT! XD

Every single one of my brothers has gone through a Thomas obsession, which means that I've watched it for as long as I can remember and still see several episodes every single week since my youngest brother lives and breathes it. Needless to say, I'm quite familiar with the characters.

All that to say, your casting is SPOT ON. LOVED it. :D
